Wide Platter

This piece is made for fruits or it’s a nice centrepiece on the dining table.

I emphasise the throwing lines and the turquoise or green glaze can melt nicely in the ridges.

These platters are available mainly turquoise, light green and grey colour.

Edit’s hand-thrown porcelain tableware is made in her South London workshop at Thames Side Studio. She loves colours and this reflects on her work.
She has started with a couple of them first, since then she tries to widen the colour scale.
All of her pieces are high fired 1260C porcelain and you can use them in the microwave and dishwasher too.
Most of Edit’s ceramics are available in nine different colour combinations. The base of the pots is matte black and the top part is glazed with Turquoise, Light Green, Mustard, Orange, Coral, Teal, White, Grey, and Yellow colours. She mixes her own glazes which gives a unique finish to the piece.
